Damping is essential for smooth, readable data but can
be a handicap when conditions are changing fast (tacking, rounding a mark, surfing
etc) as the data suffers from damping 'lag'.
Dynamic Damping adjusts
to deliver more accurate, real time data. eg: when on a beat, it is essential
that the wind angle information is accurate but steady, however, when tacking,
data needs to be more real time.

Performance Processors powerful RS232 interface provides instant 2-way communication
between the system and an on-board PC.
- An NMEA 0183 interface provides 2-way communication between
the h2000 system and any NMEA compatible device.
- The Performance Processor also stores the polar
table capacity for target speeds and angles for maximum VMG and performance percentages.

- Fast, accurate infomation such
as True Wind Angle, True Wind Direction, Target Boat Speed, Optimum Wind Angle,
Polar Speed, Optimum Wind Angle gives racing edge.
Expansion Processor (Hercules / Hydra compatible)tech
specs - For larger systems, more displays are available and more data
inputs can be added with the Expansion Processor.
- If more than 4 different
analogue displays are required an expansion processor allows up to 4 additional
analogs to be connected to the system.
- The expansion processor also
provides up to 16 linear channels for the connection of additional sensors such
as load or ballast tank sensors.
Halcyon Gyro Stabilised Compass Processor (Hercules
/ Hydra compatible)
- The Halcyon Gyro Stabilised Compass
Processor provides fully compensated heading input with high speed data outputs
to the B&G system or to interface with other navigation equipment.
- It
interfaces the Halcyon Gyro Stabilised Compass to the FastNet data bus to enable
rapid data transfer around the system.
